RedBikeHRD incorporates all three Erin Meyer tools, the Country Mapping Tool, the Personal Profile Tool and the Team Mapping Tool, into various cross-cultural and global communication programs.

Meyer wrote her first book, the international-bestselling The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business in 2014. The book represents her collective research data from over thirty different countries and provides a framework for evaluating cultures, along with offering strategies for improving international business success.

She has identified eight scales, each of which is described as a continuum in which the two ends are diametric opposites:

• Communicating – Are people low-context or high-context communicators?
• Evaluating – When giving negative feedback, do people give it directly or prefer being discreet?
• Leading – Are people in groups egalitarian or do they prefer hierarchy?
• Deciding – Do people make decisions via consensus or top-down?
• Trusting – Do people base trust on how well they know each other or how well they work together?
• Disagreeing – Do people address disagreements directly or do they prefer to avoid confrontations?
• Scheduling – Do people perceive time as absolute linear points or consider it a flexible range?
• Persuading – Do people like specific cases and examples or prefer detailed, holistic explanations?
