Since coming of professional age in the F&B industry, Rebecca has always been a people person. This manifested itself as a career in HR, primarily recruitment and career development. By leveraging her communication skills, empathy and ability to build trust, she can encourage people to see what she sees in them that they may not actually see themselves. This has helped her unlock latent talent and excel at internal/external CRM within multinationals like Amazon Web Services and Advanced Systems Group, and help young professional build careers through her work with career consultancies FullStack Academy and 2U.

Among her HR certifications are High Performance Collaboration, Leadership Communication for Maximum Impact, and Leadership Through Social Influence, all from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She further holds multiple certifications in technical recruiting, recognizing biases within recruiting, and creating diversity, along with being a certified facilitator for David Novak Leadership. At RedBikeHRD, she is the co-lead for our Women in Leadership program.

In her free time, Rebecca cherishes spending time with her dogs. She also volunteers with multiple charities supporting animals and the less fortunate, which is a natural extension of her desire to make things better.

Born in Cleveland and raised in Miami, Rebecca has since worked and studied in Tallahassee, Miami and Denver along with a stint as a sporting director aboard cruise ships sailing the seven seas, which took her across both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
